Metal finishing shops in New Jersey

Amerigo sources metal finishing from American job shops in New Jersey. Send a drawing or STEP file and we route it to a few New Jersey shops built for that work, along with strong-fit shops in neighboring states when they suit the part better. Each shop that quotes sends back its own name, price and ready date, and you pay one price through Amerigo.

Sourcing metal finishing in New Jersey

New Jersey finishing shops run powder coat, plating, anodize and passivation for the state's fabricators and machine shops, and many fabricators already send work to one of them. Sourcing finishing in New Jersey through Amerigo is for finish-only jobs: parts you already have, or a spec your fabricator does not run. Send the drawing with the spec, color and masking, and where the parts are.

Questions buyers ask

Do you cover all of New Jersey?
Yes. We work with manufacturers across the state, and a strong-fit shop in another state can quote the same request when it is the right shop for the part.
Can I send my own parts for finishing?
Yes. Send the drawing or a parts list with quantity, material, the finish spec and color, and where the parts are now.
What finish spec do I put on the drawing?
The one your application needs: a color code and gloss for powder coat, a plating spec and thickness for zinc or nickel, MIL-A-8625 type and class for anodize, ASTM A967 for passivation. If you do not have a spec, describe the environment and the shop can propose one.
Do finishing shops mask threads and faces?
When the drawing says so. Unmarked threaded holes get coated, so call out every surface that must stay bare.
Can the finish be on the same order as the fabricated parts?
Yes. Put the finish on the drawing and the fabricating shop quotes it with the parts, finished in house or through its finishing partner. The quote states what it includes.
